Job Title: Bartender
Reports to: Bar Manager
Key Internal Relationships: Bar and Event Staff
Key External Relationships: Clients and Guests
Role/Purpose: A bartender is responsible for providing superior customer service by setting up the bar(s), preparing and serving drinks, and cleaning up the bar(s) while following all laws, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:

Be on time for scheduled shift to complete opening tasks
-
Prepare and serve drinks, while ensuring that specialty drinks are made per specifications
-
Complete closing tasks
-
Follow procedures to prevent over serving

Obtain and maintain a current bartender license from the City of Waupaca
Pay: Starting at $15/hour + tips
Job Title: Event Lead
Reports to: Manager of Danes Hall
Key Internal Relationships: Bar Manager and “Float”
Key External Relationships: Clients and Guests
Role/Purpose: The Event Lead is responsible for providing superior customer service by assisting with set-up, overseeing, and cleaning up after an event while following all laws, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:

Be on site the day of the event
-
Schedule and manage the event float and other event staff, including assigning their job roles and duties
-
Be the “go-to” person for guests to address issues and/or concerns during the event
-
Oversee all policies and procedures are carried out per the Summary of Rules, Rental Agreement, Open Flame Policy, Alcohol and Bar Service Contract, etc.

Manage the set-up, take down, and transition the Hall as needed
-
Ensure that the building is clean and bathrooms are stocked before, during, and after the event
-
Assist vendors, such as photographers, caterers, florists, DJ’s, etc., with Danes Hall rules and policies, and set up and take down procedures.

Communicate with the Manager of Danes Hall prior to the event to learn and provide necessary information.

Communicate with the Manager of Danes Hall after the event on what went well and what improvements should be made

Train others to fulfill the role of Event Lead in case of an emergency
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
Job Title: Event Float
Reports to: Manager of Danes Hall
Key Internal Relationships: Bar Manager and Event Lead
Key External Relationships: Clients and Guests
Role/Purpose: The Event Float is responsible for providing superior customer service by assisting with set-up, overseeing, relieving bartending staff for breaks, and assisting with the cleaning up after an event while following all laws, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:

Be on site the day of the event

Assist with the set-up, take down, and transition the Hall as needed, or other tasks as requested by the Event Lead

Ensure that the building is clean and bathrooms are stocked before, during, and after the event

Relieve and assist bartending staff as needed
Pay: Starting at $15/hour
Job Title: Live Stream Technician
Reports to: Manager of Danes Hall
Key Internal Relationships: Event Lead and Float
Key External Relationships: Clients and Guests
Role/Purpose: The Live Stream Technician is responsible for providing superior customer service by setting up live streaming equipment, filming live streamed events, and putting away live stream equipment while following all laws, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:

Set up live streaming equipment and links, ensuring that equipment is in working order for the event

Film the event per the requests of the clients

Put away live stream equipment

Communicate with the Manager of Danes Hall prior to the event to learn and provide necessary information.

Communicate with the Manager of Danes Hall after the event on what went well and what improvements should be made

Train others to fulfill the role of Live Stream Technician in case of an emergency
